  1. SAB Diskette Utility (ASP) is a Windows 3 application that
  2. provides the user with a set of services that makes the copying,
  3. comparing, and formatting of diskettes a pleasure instead of
  4. a pain.  It makes use of the Input/Output Control interface to
  5. read/format/write a track at a time.  It will copy, in a single
  6. pass, the entire contents of a diskette, at the sector level,
  7. into an image either in memory or in a temporary hard disk file.
  8. The image can then be used to produce multiple copies of the
  9. original diskette.  It also can be saved in a file on a hard
  10. disk.  Read/compare/write operations can be limited to allocated
  11. cylinders to conserve time and image space.  Disk images can be
  12. converted from one format to another while conserving the boot
  13. and reserved sectors.  The system makes use of the Windows 3
  14. Messages and Timers to work cooperatively with other Windows 3
  15. applications. Supports unlimited number of diskette drives.

  21.    DOS 3.2 or higher.
  22.    Windows 3.1 or higher.

  29. TO REGISTER SAB DISKETTE UTILITY SELECT THE REGISTRATION OPTION ON THE
  30. MAIN MENU, fill in the information, print the completed form, sign it,
  31. and send it with a CHECK DRAWN ON A US BANK for the appropriate amount
  32. or with US currency to the address shown on the form.  Purchase
  33. orders can be used for Site and Unlimited licenses provided that the
  34. invoice will be paid by a CHECK DRAWN ON A US BANK.  Credit cards may
  35. also be used - see below.

  37. The difference types of licenses available are:

  39. Home Use ($20 US): This license gives the user the right to install a
  40. copy of SAB Diskette Utility on one non-commercial machine used
  41. at home.  A registration key will be provided that turns off the
  42. single beg screen at program termination.  An optional diskette
  43. containing the most current released version of the software for
  44. is available for an additional $7.50.

  46. A Home Use registration (without the optional diskette) can be obtained
  47. in the CompuServe SWREG forum.  Sign onto CompuServe and GO SWREG.
  48. The Registration ID is 1256.
  49.  
  50. Business - Single CPU ($30 US):  This license gives the user the right
  51. to install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on one CPU used in
  52. the performance of the user's business.  A registration key will be
  53. provided that turns off the single beg screen at program termination.
  54. An optional diskette containing the most current released version of
  55. the software is available for an additional $7.50.

  57. A Business - Single registration (without the optional diskette) can
  58. be obtained in the CompuServe SWREG forum.  Sign onto CompuServe and
  59. GO SWREG. The Registration ID is 1265.

  61. Business - Site ($200 US):  This license gives the user the right to
  62. install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on up to 100 machines used
  63. in the performance of the user's business at one location.  Additional
  64. installations at the same location are $2 per machine.
  65. A registration key will be provided that turns off the single beg
  66. screen at program termination.  A diskette will be provided that
  67. contains the most current released version of the software.

  69. Business--Unlimited ($500 US):  This license gives the user the right
  70. to install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on up to 500 machines used
  71. in the performance of the user's business anywhere in the world.
  72. Additional installations are $1 per machine.  A registration key will
  73. be provided that turns off the single beg screen at program termination.
  74. A diskette will be provided that contains the most current released
  75. version of the software.

  77. The business licenses also gives one user of each of those machines
  78. the right to install SAB Diskette Utility on a non-commercial
  79. machine used at home.  This right to use SAB Diskette Utility at
  80. home ceases if the user leaves the company holding the business
  81. license.

  83. Note: All registration keys will be recognized by new versions that
  84.       are released within six months of the original registration.
